Red Rock Country

In southern Utah lies the Colorado Plateau and an area called Red Rock Province, aptly named for its red terrain of canyons, arches, and rock formations. This vast wilderness, with its majestic scenery, is a very popular destination for hiking, mountain biking, camping, and nature photography.

All of Utah's national parks are located in this area:
Arches   Bryce Canyon   Canyonlands   Capitol Reef   Zion
as well as many state parks. For some great boating and fishing there's the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, and for those preferring a more primitive camping spot, there's the Dixie and the Manti-La Sal national forests.

Utah's outdoor paradise offers four seasons of recreation opportunities and plenty of beautiful scenery; where just the scenic drives alone are enough reward to any Utah traveler.
