I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there May and June 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
We have camped there three times in the last two months, and each time it is a wonderful experience. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel as though you are invited guests, and they provide a family friendly atmosphere for all.
Pros: The customer service was excellent. They resolved any issues quickly (even when it was not their fault - such as non-campers causing problems in the campground, etc.). They escort you to your site and help you to park your RV, which was extremely helpful on our maiden voyage. Yogi adds an atmosphere to the family camping experience, especially for young children. He just brings a smile to your face when he's involved with an activity. The camp store was fully stocked and prices were very reasonable. Easy access to the creek for fishing, rafting, swimming, etc. Firewood is delivered directly to your site for you.
Cons: The roads need some work. When it rains they become full of red clay mud puddles, which just makes everything messy. The bathrooms need a bit of remodeling, but they aren't unusable. The entrance sign to the campground is small and difficult to see. But for us, the worst thing about the campground was that it isn't closer to us so that we can go there more often.

Further comments: We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of time and energy the owners and staff put in to insure you are having a good time. They truly make you feel like you are part of their extended family and go above and beyond for the families staying there. It would be nice if they had a snack bar, but it wasn't something that would prevent us from going again. We had a great time, and we are definitely planning a return trip.
